For the business traveller this hotel is in an awkward part of town. A real 80's look and feel. If you are travelling for pleasure the location would be less of an issue. Overall the hotel was a bit boring. One staff member on checkout at 830 am?

This hotel is very well done indeed. The downstairs bar is special with excellent staff and the rooms are spacious and well appointed except for power points near the desk. Stayed here in Feb 2010 on my wedding night. Staircase was fantastic for my wife's Pre-photos. Rooms are very large and beautiful. Highly recommend this for special occasions.

I ave reviewed this before. Lovely hotel, in lovely location to the eastern fringe of the CBD of Melbourne. What was really noticeable on this visit was the overwhelming smell in the lobby. It was pleasant enough, but nonetheless TOO much. But the rest? Standard Park Hyatt. Very good. Excellent, without necessarily being friendly, service. Very comfortable and spacious room.

This hotel certainly has all the sophistication and luxury one would expect, but it just lacks soul and any feeling of homeliness at all. very expensive for what it is really, and a bit out of the way of all the action around town.
