Special location, nice rooms and super service. There are at the moment some road work in front of the building that can give some sleeping issues, but beside this I would surely recommend it!

Right in Flinders Lane in the trendy part of Melbourne, the Adelphi offers what used to be very trendily designed rooms, but now becoming a little jaded. Will soon become passee. However it still has some novelty value. Since there is extensive and noisy construction work going on opposite the hotel during the day the hotel is offering discounted prices,...

I stayed at the Adelphi for one night in December 2011. The reception is understated and, in fairness, average for a hotel of this class. Receptionist was nice enough but a bit ambivalent. There are no porters/bell boys.
I stayed in the Adelphi suite. It was massive and the interior design sort-of cool (but a bit dated, particularly the lounges)....

Stayed here for Presidents cup and just wasn't for me. Breakfast was terrific. But not one if you also have work to do. My mate got a better rate direct at the westin than i paid via Wotif. Everyone very pleasant but for the $ wanted more.

I was greeted warmly by the young lady at the reception, and given my Key to a room over looking a noisy building site which I was later advised would only be noisy from 7am to 7pm. If you want a sleep in or a Midday snooze you might want to look else where!!! The room was modern and would...
