I would say you got what you paid for this hotel. We were there for the cricket, and it was short walk to the train station which was in itself a short journey to Melbourne Cricket Ground. We stayed 3 nights in a superior room. A good location as it is 5 minutes from a metro station and parking is free. The room was refurbished and pefectly OK if a little basic. The staff were all friendly and exterem;y helpful. We found some excellent local shops in Fairfield nearby.

We stayed at Jika for 2 weeks whilst on holiday. We picked it for its close proximity to the city centre, free parking and price.
