Nice clean comfortable hotel with great views of Exhibition Park. Close to Princess Theatre and China Town. 15mins walk to Victoria Markets.

We stayed with friends for a much anticipated celebratory weekend away. First impressions of the apartment were good if a little tired. Great location but very poor restaurant service. Drinks took 45 mins to arrive despite numerous reminders to bar staff and about 10 people max in the bar! Terrible breakfast, buffet not replenished and friends told that they should... More

We stayed at Mantra on the Park in May 2012. Our first impression when we walked into our 1-bedroom apartment was that it was great. Spacious, lovely decor, comfortable lounge furniture, nice kitchen. We stayed there for 10 days and unfortunately the housekeeping was terrible. Bathroom wasn't cleaned, sheets weren't changed, kitchen crockery and cutlery needed to be washed before... More

We've stayed here a few times when we've been to Melbourne with our kids. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartments offer plenty of space. The showers were a bit hot and cold. The location is great, easy access to restaurants in Lygon Street and Chinatown. Being on the doorstep of the free city circle tram is great too. Not 5... More

I stayed here on business trip and worked well, internet was good and enjoyed the views , the girl who checked me in was new i think but very welcoming and helpful, unfortunately the gentleman on check out didn't seem interested , but i may have been interrupting his mid morning routine. Breakfast is served at a cafe next door... More

Stayed in a two bed /2 bath apartment overlooking the intersection of LaTrobe and Exhibition streets, with views across to the park opposite. This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel and have always enjoyed the stay. This trip was no exception. Only two comments - the ensuite bathroom off the main bedroom was very small. It was... We stayed at the Mantra for 8 nights, it was a good location close to most things and the free tram, which was ideal for us. The downside was not just the bad cleaning but the lack of cleaning services, we had to ask for a linen change after the 4th day, the duvet inner on the bed was dirty... More

Fantastic value for this wonderful, clean and simple apartment with a great view of Carlton Gardens. We came for a friend's wedding and chose it because of it's location. The super spacious service apartment is fully equipped with stove, oven etc which you probably won't get to use given the wonderful cafes just round the corner. TV channels are limited... More

We stayed at Mantra on the Park in January whilst attending the Australian Open Tennis. It was fantastic as they had refurbished the rooms in 2011 (for about $6million) so there was modern decor and the usual facilities of full kitchen, laundry (in the bathroom), balcony etc. We chose it because it was about $50 cheaper than Mantra on Russell... After an overnight, very uncomfortable flight from Bangkok, we weren`t in the best of moods by the time we got to Melbourne, but the reception staff at this hotel were very cheerful, helpful and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment (albeit it unnecessarily, but fully appreciated). With a sweet little balcony looking over to the park, and a very... More
