my partner and i loved it, staff were friendly and the room was very comfortable

The windows were not replaces when this hotel renovated, so they are very old and thin. As a result, the rooms are very noisy, and there are a lot of trucks through the night on Macquarie St. I hardly slept.

No air con AND could only open window a crack, noise level of traffic off the the scale, shower either scolding hot (really) or freezing. They didn't service my room !! Ghastly loud tv in breakfast room. Apart from that ok !

I read the reviews and took a chance on staying here for 3 nights. I stayed on the 3rd floor in a corner room facing out the back, so not on a main road. I think this made the stay less noisy. The Walls are thin though and the ceilings. You can hear people using the toilet and the shower!... More

Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom are clean. Centrally located. Walking distance to CBD. Have self service laundry areas if needed. Rather then that, no complaints.
