It has a fantastic view habour but one thing i noticed in my room was a big step to go into the bathroom but it is pretty good hotel anyway

Stayed here a week. Clean, excellent staff, great view, great restaurant especially breakfast . The business traveller might want a more sophisticated business centre but never mind. Would recommend to anyone.

Stayed at the Grand Chancellor for a conference and I had a really good experience. The room was bright, airy and clean, and the bathrooms were also good. Definitely recommend if you want to be in walking distance of all the action.

We received an excellent deal through octopus for this hotel and we were also given an upgrade to a recently renovated room . Large room, beautiful views . Hotels in the wharf area of Hobart are overpriced so we really appreciated this deal.
