The apartments are good and in a great spot in Hobart. But the service is simply appaling. We booked four months in advance but were downgraded without notice or apology and still charged the higher rate. The in room cleaning is great. They could be fantastic, if only they got the basics right.

This would be a great boutique hotel, however, the sevice is very questionable. Even with raising issues with the room, there was no apologies or even a sense of urgency to rectify. Stayed at Sullivan's cove for 3 nights and it was fabulous. 5 girls. It is firstly a fabulous location that is always a plus. A few minutes walk to Salamanca and lots of restaurants. I stayed at the Battery Point Salamanca apartments in Hobart and it was just amazing value for money! We paid only $200 a night for a beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom apartment. We got on to these apartments through wotif. It was reasonably priced (for Hobart) and the apartment was really beautiful - large, modern, clean, well-serviced. Expensive but large modern fully kitted out apartments, reasonable view but right on the waterfront, wifi was down but that's the only grizzle.

We stayed here for two night and found the place great. Would benefit from having a DVD library in the Apartments or pay tv. The Bathrooms also had very expensive toilets seat lids that had notes on them to not place anything heavy and if you break you pay. Why put something so precious in a bathroom? We stayed atadmiral suite's suite. The location of the apartment was very good and the views were nice. Some of kitchen utensils were need replacing - only one small saucepan and that was burnt.
