So glad we decided to take the drive to Lake Pedder the drive was beautiful through mountains and forest, Gordon Dam was magnificent. the warm welcome from the managers was fantastic and the accommodation clean and comfortable with a view to die for! Would recommend to anyone. More

Yesterday I returned from a 2 week tour of Tasmania and would like to let everybody know that Lake Pedder Chalet is now closed to the public. There is no accomodation there. rooms were small but definately value for money. Nothing flash, but was warm and clean. The scenery in this wilderness is spectacular–craggy mountains reflected in calm lake water, full of fish.
