Stayed there for a night because we had to. First of all, the pub/hotel owner was not friendly and helpful at all, so obvious that he is money orientated! The beds and blankets were dirty, the water from the tap was salty. So basically we were having salty showers and no drinking water was available. So the only way for... More

We originally booked a 4 bedroom room with shared facilities for $140. When we got there around 7pm, we were given the keys to a partitioned container in the camp (which was supposedly closed) and he only charged us $100. Inside absolutely nothing but 3(!) beds. The shared facilities were disgusting, dirty and filthy. When I complained about the missing... More

Most remote locations like this have not much to offer accommodation wise. We stayed at the campsite with our 4x4 turned to camper. The facilities at the campsite are very basic and a bit old. The price is relatively high but what do you expect in the middle of nowhere of nowhere. The bar/restaurant are nice. The food is decent... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during a family outback trip. The accommodation was a block of old style demountable cabins in two rows facing each other. If you expect anything above very, very basic you will be disappointed. The beds were inadequate and the rooms tiny and dirty. The bathroom was about 50 metres away along a dirt pathway... More

We have traveled the 5 continents, visiting many countries and stayed in accommodation in 3rd world countries. At WC we stayed in the Camp Site accommodation and it has to rate as the worst accommodation we have ever stayed in on holiday. I note from previous reviews comments that one should not expect any facilities with the accommodation??? Why not,... More

This was one of the highlights of the trip. The couple running the pub were genuinely friendly, the beer was cold as and I had arguably the best hamburger I have ever eaten. I checked out the rooms while we were there and if you find anything to whine about then you shouldn't be outback. I personally will be travelling... More

We were on a 'mission' to fly two light aircraft to Ayers Rock (and back!) and the William Creek Hotel was a must on our route! If you don't understand why I've given the place five stars when there's no pool, no room service, no fitness centre, no mini bar no ... then you perhaps don't understand the beauty of... More

We stayed for one night here while travelling along the Oodnadatta track and enjoyed the outback experience. Everyone - staff and other customers - very friendly. Food service was quite slow, but then you're not going anywhere - there's nowhere to go. The accommodation is fairly basic as you would probably expect. We had one of the 3 motel rooms... More
