How can anybody take Long Island resort seriously as a destination in the whitsundays, it looks like everything was purchased at a secondhand store, dont get me wrong the views are some of the best, but everything is old broken and very dated. the food was awful and the service was appalling.

Take it from someone who has spent a lot of time in the Whitsundays, Long Island is not even close to the best. We were extremely disappointed with the rooms which were by far the worst ive stayed in, beds were old and uncomfortable with a shocking smell in the bathroom.
