Its not the room service, concierge, chef's or bartenders that make this place so unique......cause there are none!! And to my partner and I this was the beauty of the place. For three nights we had the entire use of the resort facilites all to ourselves and with no other vistiors on the island , we were left to our... More

We will never forget the beauty of the location and the people that run this dream place! We were looking for something special for our wedding destination and the Palm Bay Resort was voted by EVERYONE of our guests as the best location they have ever been to for any holiday let alone our destination wedding location. The resort owners... More

Although Peppers palm bay closed down in Feb after the cyclone the resort is still open for visitors and you can still go there if you know how to book. Check out Stayz.com.au. Some owners are advertising their units for rent for as little as $100 per night. You will need to take all your own food and alcohol and... More

I could rave about it forever!! we arrived via hellicopter from hamilton island airport on their private hellipad and got welcomed by one of the many friendly staff. Its such a remote location which just enhanced... More

My husband and I stayed at peppers 4 yrs ago and recently returned for a 4 day break between christmas and new years. The resort was full but the only time you really saw a lot of people was at dinner (which were lovely - we would recommend the stoney peak shiraz cabernet to go with any meal). We stayed... More

Had a blissful 4 nights at Peppers Palm Bay. I was discussing with my wife whether the service you get at Asian resorts (Chedi etc) was achievable in Australia. I reckon that Peppers Palm Bay is as close as it gets. Target market is definitely couples, as a result everyone keeps themselves to themselves. The food was very good with... More

Spent 6 nights at the Peppers Palm Bay. The staff are truly excellent and attention to detail is indeed 1st class. This place is is THE ideal honeymoon resort. It is expensive and you are a 'captured audience' but hey it is well worth the extra cash. The main asset is the staff - Pauley, Verity, Joe, Alex, Yasmine, Jen,... More

Great things, and poor things. Will start with poor items. Interesting Stay during October 2010. Staff are very friendly and always helpful, although a couple staff who I presume were new were still learning the ropes but not concerned by that (simple things like plates not available from continental breakfast buffet, forgotten orders, no labels on the different milk types...).... First time review on Tripadvisor! Before I start, some important advice to heed, which does not relate to the resort. We visited in the middle of 'Horsefly Season', which apparently last 2-3 weeks through October. These little critters are a serious impediment to enjoying this blissful location. They pay no attention to deet spray, and will harass you non-stop when... More
