We stayed for 3 nights. Excellent value bush cabins. Reasonably clean with basic facilities. Appeared they had recently had an upgrade. Fairly central location on the island. The cheeky dingoes pulled the towels off the clothes line so don't leave anything outside over night.Overall happy.

Revisited resort and found to be under new management with lots of things being done to make Cathedral Beach a high standard destination to stay at while visiting Fraser Island. Tent accommodation has been replaced with new tents and cabin accommodation refurbished and repainted and new barbie facilities supplied. At time of visit, facilities were still being upgraded.

This is one of the few campsites we've been to that has: - Access to the beach (But don't swim on account of sharks!) - Good tree cover, so no hot sun - Cool breezes from ocean - but not too windy - Great facilities and well maintained Highly recommended.
