For the money we paid we could of got alot nicer somewhere else, Lift broke the day we got there and the other lift only went to level 17 so we had to walk up 9 flights of stairs with 2 small children to get to our apartment. Someone parked in our carpark so we had to park in the... more
We stayed at the Golden Gate for 7 nights. It was just ok. Like the other reviewer, we could definitely have booked somewhere better, and did during the second week of our stay. The apartment was spacious, and clean - if you didn't look to closely! Having said that, the location was great, just a short walk to the shops... more
We felt that we could have got better value for our money elsewhere. The are definitely problems with these apartments., like $25 fee if the users of the apartments do not clean up properly. and the $250 tow away fee if you accidentally park in someone else's car park. Not a lot to say really. The apartments are pretty spacious, but the one I stayed in was 'tired' to be kind. Beds are comfy, bathrooms and kitchens not too icky, but it really could do with a bit of tlc. Nice views from upper floors, and pretty well located though. more
