We stayed at the Queenslander for 5 days. Julie and Gavin were absolutely wonderful to us. Nothing was too much trouble. We shared an apartment with another couple. It was spacious, clean and had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The Queenslander is within walking distance to everything which we found a definite plus. The pool was great also

If you intend to visit Queensland to see the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, I suggest that rather than staying in Cairns you consider Port Douglas which is a beautiful town with excellent shopping, restaurants and bars.
