Unfortunately I had to make a booking and come to realize I wouldn't be able to stay at Dougies but on request to cancel and get a refund for the paid deposit, Dougies was really great to deal with and very speedy! Will have to return to be able to properly stay. More

My husband and I stayed in a double room and I have nothing bad to say. The room was a nice size, the air conditioner worked great. The bathrooms were pretty standard. Myself & 3other friends stayed at Dougies for two nights wishing it was longer! It was great to have a free bus from Cairns. The room's where clean & had a air con. The only bad thing I would say was I was on the bottom bunk & could not sit up! More

Dougies was amazing, from the free pick up in Cairns, to the friendly staff, cheap bar and laid back atmosphere, it has everything a backpacker could need. This is the place for any backpacker. With a friendly staff and enviroment you really get a family feel. I loved it soo much I stayed for months.
