Very clean and great location! Antonia and Fred were great help in the local area and knew where to go and what to do. Loved that there are no kids there and a flexible check-in/check-out hours (checked in very late and out very early). Good location to explore Port Douglas and peaceful place to relax after hitting the Reef. Spotless... more

We had the most fabulous stay at Martinque, Fred and Antonia are so helpful and friendly, nothing is to much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had the most enjoyable stay. We hopefully will return, sometime in the near future!! more

Just loved the architectural design and character of Martinique and this was enhanced by Antonia and Fred, the lovely friendly, helpful managers. Hotel is of a very high standard and rooms are delightful, light and spacious. The location is perfect as it situated at the beach end of Macrossan St (main shopping/restaurant St in Port Douglas). This allows guests to enjoy being within a 1 min walk of 4 mile beach and also be within walking distance of the shops and restaurants.... more
