Was booked into the All Seasons Sunshine Tower at Cairns, first impression was not good from the outside. Checked into the room and found bed bugs in the bed. Packed my gear up and left there and found another motel to check into. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The accomodation up front, although a bit old school, seemed ok for the money. The room rate was $80 per night, not a lot but concidering how many are on the same road for cheaper, i would expect better.

Good underground parking facilities right of the main road (Cpt. Cook Hwy). Location was OK, about 10 minute walk to the Esplanade. There were some local homeless people hanging about around the corner but didn't cause any inconvenience.
Girl at check-in was very nice and helpfull. Lobby was simple but effecient, the hotel has recently opened a new (breakfast) restaurant....

Despite a low price tag, service was not sacrificed, as low cost hotels seem to find it unnecessary to greet guests warmly, and offer a "nothing is too much problem" attitude. From the some of the upper floors, there is a nice view out over the ocean (a couple of...
