We spent 3 nights at the Mercure Cairns Harbourside and enjoyed every moment. The hotel location was ideal for easy access to the airport, downtown and the marina district. Our room was clean, spacious, quiet and well appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar and dining areas were very enjoyable.

My wife and I though it was great, a nice stroll to the restaurants etc, a view of the sea king bed was to king singles which is common but we ended up on one, as one soft and the other firm, only a minor problem otherwise a great stay.

The important thing was the service. The staff were fantastic! Reception was the best! Also the restaurant was epic! Location good and there is a bus shuttle into the centre of Cairns. I recommend this hotel to you!!
