Probably a bit expensive for what you get. No air conditioning which was just unbearable in over 30 degree heat. The upstairs bathroom should be a separate shower and toilet as it's very annoying if someone is in the shower for absolutely ages and you just need a wee. There is a shower and toilet down stairs too though, but... More

The positives: - The location is great, right near Brunswick Street. There are heaps of amazing restaurants close by. - The house is beautiful and well maintained. - The price is reasonable and the staff were friendly. The negatives: - There is no air-conditioning in the rooms. It was 30 degrees or so when we stayed and we found it... More

The accommodations here range from B&B 'style' to budget friendly shared dormitory rooms. It is a lovely old property, clean and very spacious. The downstairs kitchen is large and equipped with basic necessary cooking items and utensils and some essential foods such as: margerine, sugar, tea and coffee. I stayed in the shared 4 person dormitory so I'm not sure... More

We loved the location. It's near to Brunswick St and Fortitude Valley, where you can experience Brisbane night life and foods. Chinatown is there as well. The only thing we don't like about the room is the thin wall. We can hear the people walking outside our room so expect to be woken up when people starts to move in... More

Excellent communication before, during and after visit. Airport bus stops right outside and good value. Clean and tidy. I don't normally stay at backpackers or rooms with shared facilities, but this was fine, good value and I'd stay here again. Thank you. More

This place is fantastic! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. It's in a nice area and is easy to access Brisbane CBD. What more can you ask for? My partner and I only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed for weeks. More

Nice friendly place to stay. Good location for restaurants and walking the river esplanade. Easy stroll to the city. From the airport catch a Coachtrans bus door to door, will drop you off outside. I often stay here when in Brisbane on short stays. More

I had the wonderful experience of being treated as a person rather than a number. Made to feel more than welcome by the host, Maria, who from the moment I checked in was very helpful and an incredible source of information about Brisbane - what to do, how to get around, places to see. I love food, and there are... More
