The Hostel is clean and the Staff is very helpfull. Its a cozy place far away from Home! You never feel lonely in this Place. Every new customer get a warm welcome and a Orientation Walk during the Hostel with a friendly Staff Member. Its always quiet at Nigthtime .

The yellow is a small and very lovely hostel. Most of the people stay for more than 4 weeks. It´s like a big family. Also it is clean, cheap and has a lot of activities (pool, pooltable, free dinner on sunday, free books...) If I ever go back to Brisbane I would definitely choose the Yellow Submarine :)

Thanks for a good couple of nights in Brisbane. Being my first trip to Oz I was a bit lost. the team at this hostel put me straight on what's cool to do and where to travel. I did some great adventure with Riverlife and had a XXXX (that's Oz for beer) then off to Sydney and the Melbourne Cup.

The place is run down, ill-managed, kitchen and especially the bathrooms very dirty with bad smell. People were very friendly, and there are a lot of longterm habitants staying there. Very welcoming. Brisbane was a great city and a good choice to stay with yellow sub. I met heaps of fun people and went kayaking and rockclimbing in the city, pretty cool! also the city now is truley international and you can dine out in heap of cool places

This was one of the cheaper Brisbane hostels to stay at and is decent in terms of cleanliness, accommodation and cost. Upstairs bathrooms - one had no light and no hand soap, the other had no hand soap. You have to go downstairs to use the girls bathroom for hand soap.
