The Point isn't really 4 stars, but it's still a very good hotel. Big enough to be able to provide loads of services, but not so big as to create check-in queues or congestion. We enjoyed our stay in a two-bedroom apartment across the street from the main hotel. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. The highlight was a large balcony overlooking the marina - great for breakfast, although its a bit noisy due to the nearby highway. more

Staff are excellent at The Point, but this could not make up for the very dated two bedroom apartment. Needs a complete makeover. Also, it seems that no one has checked or used the microwave oven in quite a while as it was growing some type of mould that smelled disgusting I am glad we only stayed for one night.. more

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, crisp white sheets and nicely appointed. The housekeeping staff were excellent, the apartment was serviced daily and to a very high standard. The reception staff were friendly and co-operative, helping us out with additional accomodation we needed on one of our 4 nights. Car parking was easy and secure. Highly recommended! more
