The hotel is quite funky - I liked the decor and the beds were comfortable. Staff were nice too and very helpful and friendly. I guess the only criticism I would have is the restaurant doesn't open till 6pm - so if you want to eat you either have to order room service (which defeats the object of going to... More

As a family of 4 trying to find budget accom in the city is almost impossible..I booked direct through Urban web site a week before we arrived and got a twin room for $135 (wot if was alot more). The room was spotless, everything was fresh and clean. 2 double beds - cosy, the room is not big, but we... More

Stayed for one night on Feb 1st in a twin room. Have to say this is the nicest hotel we have stayed at in Brisbane recently. Close to places to eat, the Spring Hill Loop Free Bus stops on the doorstep with multiple stops around the CBD, friendly staff, check in and out were easy as. Nothing to complain just... More

We paid $270 a night plus parking and wifi made it $300. Not sure why this site shows free wifi - its not. This is an older building with some renos - which does not make it worth the cost of a newer hotel (lipstick on a pig). Room was small, bathroom was reno'd and small. We had a large... More

What a treat it is to stay here! The atmosphere right from the time I entered the front doors was simply amazing! Without doubt, the staff here are amongst the most customer service oriented of any hotel in many long years of travel. Despite renovations going on, my room was delightfully fresh and clean. The bed is to die for... More

Hi Karen M G, Such a nice review! Sounds like you had a beautiful stay, and, of course, we're over the moon to hear it. We agree that it can sometimes be quite daunting travelling on your own, so we love hearing that our gorgeous staff looked after you and gave you a little home away from home while you... More

Quite close to the CBD, but not too close so it's relatively peaceful but within about 10 mins walk from town. Rooms are really nice and recently refurbished to a high standard. The bed was really comfortable and aircon worked really well. The bathroom was really nice but a bit small and the only minor fault is that the shower... More

Hi darwin1905, That's a bit strange about the spa water, we'll definitely check up on that. We change the water very regularly so it's a shame you had that experience with it. Hope you didn't snore too loudly in the Urban Snorer! They are sooo comfy and tend to have that effect on people from time to time ;-) We're... More

Close to the Brisbane Private Hospital hence the decision to stay there. Nice surroundings and a cool ambience once inside. Undercover parking (whihc you pay extra for!) is always a good thing. Staff were very helpful, particularly when we needed to stay another night which we found out about 15 minutes prior to check out. Staff were most accommodating. I... More

We only stayed at this hotel for one night as it was closer to the airport than the goldcoast where we had been staying. There was four of us staying in one room with two queen beds which was rather cramped but the room had a tv, mini bar, good bathroom and all seemed rather new and very clean. We... More

Work Christmas Party. The setting was in the Panorama Room which just before dusk had an awesome view of Brisbane which i had not seen before in my life (lived here my whole life). This room easily accommodated the large party with ample space between the tables and had an area cleared for a bar which ran smoothly all night.... More

My husband and I stayed here in December, 2011 and really enjoyed it. Nice rooms, good staff, good location. Kind of funky/fun atmosphere and uses the Evo line of products - nice! The restaurant/bar has great atmosphere and is perched above the city lights. Apples at the front desk were a nice touch. Really nice 5 minute walk into the... More

Hi Laura Lea B, It's great to hear you're familiar with evo's gorgeous line of products. Being able to walk to the city from the hotel is a big plus, and we love the free bus service – a lovely way to experience Brisbane without having to spend much on taxi fares. Look forward to welcoming you and your husband... More
