Have stayed many times at The Value Inn for both business & pleasure. I have always found the Value Inn to be clean & tidy. Well situated in the heart of Mitchell Street, close to pubs, clubs & restaurants. Staff while busy will go out of their way to suit your needs. Reception is open only until 8pm, but sister... More

This property is located right in the heart of the CBD, it is actually two properties, one targeting backpackers, the other frugal minded tourists. I stayed here twice during my trip to Darwin and each room was identical. The rooms are very small and simply offer a clean, safe and secure place to sleep. The staff were very helpfull and... More

If all your looking for is somewhere, to sleep, the the Value Inn is just fine. The rooms are very small, they apparently sleep 3 but I wouldn't. We were there for a holiday and only came back to the room to eat and sleep. We had room 52 on the first floor which was on the opposite side to... More

This is more like a backpacker hotel, in fact it is run in conjunction with one next door. What you get is small noisy rooms with young men yelling f--k until 3am. It is in a central location with lots of busy bars and restaurants nearby. And it is reasonably priced. Just be young and hip, stay out late and... More

Budget accommodation which is good for shorts stays. Central to everything. Parking however can cause a problem. Not many spaces so ended up parking on the street...still pretty safe considering. Staff aren't too interested in you. This is not a 5 star resort so i was not expecting much in the service department but a smile would of been nice....wouldn't hurt. More

I stayed here after a week in the Melaluca.... I thought that was bad. The rooms stink & cockroaches everywhere. I would not stay here ever again More

Stayed there for two weeks which was probably too long in the same spot but all the restaurants and shops etc were within walking distance. The rooms are rather basic but so is the price, they were clean and the pool was always well kept but rather small. If your looking for a great night life everything is only steps... More

We stayed here for just 1 night in February 2012. The room was clean and compact with Air Con, a fridge and shower ensuite. Its pretty much the cheapest place without booking into a backpackers in town. Though, because of this it was full of under 30's on their holidays. We had no trouble with noise but just be prepared... More

I stayed here in February for 3 nights, and had 2 interupted nights with drunks shouting and banging on hotel doors. The rooms are cramped and air condition so noisy and ineffective that I did not use it most of the time. Reception did apoligise on the second disrupted night and said two couples had been ejected from their rooms.... More

Initially I had booked a private dorm with ensuite at the hostel next door since the price was very cheap, only $65 per room per night. Me & hubby wanted to get a decent sleep for few days before we were going back to our country. Since I had stayed at that hostel 3 months before when I traveled alone,... More
