My wife and I recently stayed at the Darwin B&B for 7 days. Janette and Roger were wonderful hosts and very helpful and accommodating. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, quiet, relaxing and close to the main city attractions. The swimming pool was a welcome asset as well. We would happily recommend this facility to our family and friends and should we have... More

we found the B&B very relaxing, the studio room was ok. the small swimming pool was a bonus, the owners were absent the three nights we stayed thee, the main reason for staying at a b&b is interaction with the hosts

Janette and Roger make you feel immediately at home: they're very friendly, helpful, considerate, kind and informative about all things in the NT and Darwin. The location's great: it's tucked away in a quiet side street in leafy Larrekeyah but only a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of town and the main drag on Mitchell, making it peaceful and... More

From her prompt response to my initial question, to suggesting and arranging things to do during my stay in Darwin, Janette was a helpful and very knowledgeable host. A most relaxing stay, with a lovely pool in the garden and plenty of room to sit outside in the evening. The property is within walking distance of the city and buses... More

My partner stayed at Steeles on Larrakeyah in the studio unit for 5 weeks for work, I visited for 1 week. My impression was very quiet, relaxing and clean accommodation with everything you need in the studio unit, a home away from home. Roger and Janette were very helpful and friendly. The surroundings were peaceful with the pool, plants &... More

Steeles Bed and Breakfast (also known as Darwin B and B) is set off in a neighborhood about a 10 minute walk out from the main drag of Mitchell Street. It is an interesting walk- once you reach Mitchell you will walk past litter strewn streets where you might want to pay attention to your surroundings. It is also about... More

We have stayed here a few times when we have visited Darwin. Janette is always ready with suggestions and arranged all of our bookings for a day trip to Litchfield. It is a bit of a walk to town - if it is not too hot it is a very pleasant stroll. If you like casual b&b style accommodation, I... More

This stay was part of our big tour of Australia. Room was small with small kitchen area and very hot when we arrived but air con finally cooled it down. Looks close to town but was extremely hot when we were there and although avid walkers it was too far in that heat so had to take the car. Breakfast... More

We stayed with Janette and Roger for 4 nights and they were helpfulness itself from suggestions of where to visit to looking after our luggage when we had a night in Kakadu. The pool offered a welcome break from the heat and the breakfast was perfect for us and gave us a good healthy start to the day. The b&b... More
