Did not use the Pool but it looked okay to me. My units were both secluded and on the first visit the only wild life I saw was a huge green and blue parrot that sat eating the dates of the date palm round my veranda whilst I admired his plumage. Absolutely appalling service. The most unwelcoming, inhospitable hosts I have ever met. We were ripped off at every turn. An $11 bottle of wine was sold to us for $25! Got the hotel courtesy bus from the airport to the hotel, where I had to wait 15 mins to be seen at checkin as there was only one member of staff on duty and they were on the phone. This is a good value place to stay. Accomodation was in a detached log cabin with veranda. Already a plus for me...no noisy neighbours above, or next door. The hotel is 20mnts walk from town centre and the reception staff advises use of taxi after sunset hours (approx 8.5-10A$ one way). However if you are looking for a family room with kitchenette and swimming pool this hotel can be recommended particularly if you have your own transport. Stayed twice here in the same week for 2 nights. Chalets for 2 or 3 are quite comfortable and clean with basic cooking facilities, but are a little dated looking. Air con works well.
