Who would have thought! Downtown Wagga could have a really nice newly refurbished to clean contemporary lines, a really good hotel. I stayed in a queen suite, and seriously; I photographed the label on the mattress and went down to harris scarfe to buy the pillows I had slept on! It is THE most comfortable sleep I have had in... we stayed just one night at the Prince of Wales in January. We booked into a newly renovated room. The room was very comfortable and clean. Air conditioning worked well and we slept well. Absolutely no complaints. More

As per a previous reviewer, we did encounter some mossies over our Easter stay but only a few which is understandable given the location right beside the Murrumbidgee River but still in the CBD and a quick couple of sprays from the insecticide can provided quickly sorted that out. We stayed in a 'superior' room found our room quite spacious... More

We found this hotel very overpriced for very average rooms. We were there over the Easter weekend and very little was open. The hotel restaurant was closed and the suggestions given by the front desk for an open restaurant were incorrect. We found dozens of Mosquitos in our room in the evening that required an effort to get rid of.... More

Travelling with an infant and a 4 year old from Sydney to Melbourne, we stopped to stretch our legs at this comfortable motel/ hotel. Needed to heat up some milk and lo n behold we were given a microwave at our disposal...very thoughtful.. Nice clean room with a large bathroom. Ordered room service from the duke of Kent- pricey! Stayed for business. Room was clean and modern and price average. Rooms on two levels, some noise from people above. Staff were friendly and efficient. Parking easy and situated on the main drag in wagga. More

Located right in the main street of town, this lovely old Victorian hotel has been converted to a very comfortable boutique hotel/motel. Step outside and you have Wagga's numerous restaurants and shops at your doorstep. The proprietors, Jo and Mick, are extremely warm and welcoming and go to great lengths to ensure that your stay is a good one. You... More

I've been regularly travelling to Wagga on business for almost two years and have stayed in most of the hotels. I first stayed at the Prince of Wales a couple of months ago. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. But what makes this place really special is the incredibly friendly atmosphere and great food. You won't meet better hosts... More
