Booked a very reasonably priced package for my husband's 40th - $320 for loft apt with views, breakfast and cocktails. Have stayed at this hotel a few times now and this was definitely a better stay. After reading some other reviews, I ensured I stayed on the wharf side of the hotel and agree this side is much better than the other side due to - less noise - better view - no direct sunlight into the room @ dawn... more

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our daughter left her hair straightening tongs in the room and I phoned late at night after we discovered them missing. I enjoyed my stay here, I got a room over the entrance so a tad noisy but only when I had to wake up anyway so no problem there. Tried to get into the gym but my card didnt seem to work so didnt bother. Great restaurants down the side there and close to the city, though I wouldnt walk... more

Blue is a good looking hotel in a great old building. Rooms are nicely furnished and clean. BUT I have stayed twice now and will never stay again. WHY?
