Although our room was on the lower levels of the quay side, the room was very soundproof and the noise of the ferries did not bother us at all. Our first time in Australia and we couldnt have chosen a more brilliant place to stay. Our balcony looked out at the Harbour Bridge and was central for everything. We were visiting family in Sydney and decided to sleepover in downtown. Quay Grande Suites were perfect choice. Suite is bit pricy, but you are in downtown: 3 minutes from Sydney Opera House, same from Royal Botanic Gardens and 10-min from Harbour Bridge. At $1100 a night this should be good and it is. Valet parking means you have to wait for your car and you pay for the parking even at this room rate.
