I came to Sydney for business and the Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, was the center of action. Metro Apartments is only 10 minutes walk to the Convention Centre and reasonably priced. We as a family of 4 wanted an affordable location close to the city - we got a great deal at Metro Darling Harbour. The steps entering could be a problem for older/less able travellers, but we managed fine, and enjoyed the close proximity to Darling Harbour and public transport. Access to building is via steps. This is a struggle for people with luggage. Tired rooms. Mezzanine level could be a struggle for older people. If you are a younger traveller wanting a cheap room with a good location close to Darling Harbour this is quite adequate.
