I visited Sydney with a close girlfriend at the end of September this year. We were looking at all the reviews on this site and were tempted by the boutique hotels at Potts Point but finally settled on a 'safer' area which was more central as well. Hyde Park Inn had some decent reviews and an easy to use website... more

We stayed here for 5 nights in August, in a family room on the 10th floor. The family room consisted of one room, with 4 beds and a small kitchen area with a dining table. The room had a nice view, overlooking Hyde Park.....the location was ideal, walking distance to most of the sights, close to shopping and transportation. (We... more

This hotel has it all for a price that is hard to beat. The rooms where large, clean and well kept. Security is great, you have to have a room key to take the elevator to the room levels. The location is in the CBD right on Hyde Park. You can take the free bus out front to go around... more

We stayed in Hyde Park Inn for 4 nights in August. The hotel is located next to Hyde Park, and is in a great spot as it's within walking distance of many attractions such as Sydney Tower, Darling Harbour and Paddy's Markets and the Chinese Gardens. There is also a train station and a bus stop right outside, and the... more

We were a family of five, traveling to Sydney for vacation. We wanted to stay in one room, i.e. an apartment-type room. Hyde Park was well able to accommodate us. Even with three beds in the room it was reasonably comfortable for us. Everything was VERY clean. The continental breakfast was much appreciated, as well as the kitchnette set-up that... more

The lobby is very small like any 3 star hotel, but this hotel got roomy guest rooms unlike your average motel. In addition, the morning park view is absolutely charming, though it's a bit noisy at night (understandable as it's right on Elizabeth Street). If you choose to live in the city, I am assuming you don't need to go... more

Booked thru the hotel's email, suprising they give me a better rate than what I could find on the web. We are a family of 5 and yes, the beds are in the same room. It was made know to us. We requested a high floor and was given 7th, can't be helped since we checked in at 930pm. The... more

I stayed at the Hyde Park Inn as part of a large family group on the night before my wedding in October 2007. I enquired about multiple rooms and was shown through the property by one of the friendly front of house staff before we made our booking (for ten rooms including both self contained apartments) and was offered a... more

We just loved staying here! The rooms are perfect for a family who don't mind all staying in the one room. If adults are looking for privacy from the kids, this isn't the place for you. The four of us found it comfortable and perfect for accessing all the sights of Sydney. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of... more
