The location and hotel was most suitable for my purpose during my stay for a convention at the Sydney convention centre and as I was travelling alone. The room would have been too small if there were two of us, particularly the bathroom. Cleanliness and Service were good, with a comfortable bed.

lovely hotel, but as there are two guests to each room, maybe two chairs in each room instead of only one, would be better instead of one person having to sit on a stool, especially in the harbour view rooms. This would allow both people to look at the view without one person having to keep their head turned.

Booked overnight accomodation - wanting a comfortable room, and short walk to the convention centre Darling Harbour. IBIS Darling Harbour was 1 of the cheapest options, and was exactly what I was after. Service at check in was effecient, allowing me access to my room, a number of hours prior to check in..

Aside from the harbour, I was disappointed with the Ibis. Unremarkable customer service-- couldn't even set up awake-up call-- and a blah tiny room. Wi-fi was awful even after requesting a floor with good wi-fi (apparently 8-10). The Novotel nearby is lightyears better and worth the extra money.

Needed to stay close to the city and not pay a kings ransom. The Ibis fitted the bill perfectly with great staff, hot breakfast and a quick walk to the city. Highly recommended. Parking is located next door so it was great to just walk everywhere.

Clean room moderate space. Great location right on the water in Darling harbour and a short stroll to the cbd.Service wasnt great but cant expect much from a huge hotel. However everything else was in order and left us satisfied.
