The shangri-la is exquisitely placed in terms of views of sydney harbour and opera house. Knowing this, I think they probably pay less attention to service and quality of service. We arrived in Sydney around 10am - the staff informed us that our room wasn't ready, but they went to great lengths to get it ready as quickly as possible.
