The room was old and it smelled terrible. The Internet connection did not work in my room (hotel staff old me that I happened to be in the one room that the connection didn't work). The live band each night was loud and terrible. The elevator didn't work. My advice, don't stay here!! More

This hotel is located on the 2nd floor above a bar and 'event 'room. There is no front desk operation overnight. A live band was booked into the event room on the 2nd night of our stay. The noise was unbelievable. The bass guitar actually vibrated the bed! There was no one on the front desk until morning, when the... More

When lookng for a hotel I base my selection on the following: 1) Cheap and Comfortable 2) Pleasant staff and environment 3) Location and accessibility 4) Hotel facilities and resources 5) Home away from home comforts My experience at this hotel was pleasantly surprising!! I come from a five star hotel background as a guest services agent as well as... More

We were not planning to stay that night in Sydney, but problems with our flights made us look for an hotel while we were at the airport. The location was good, and customer service and the room were excellent. But the price was too high and the entrance was really ugly, a risky narrow path that takes you to a... More

I was in Sydney for just a few nights for work and I needed to be in the CBD. This was the cheapest hotel i could find. But you really do get what you pay for! The room was small. The extractor fan in the shower was horrific!Sounded like it was going to pull a hole out of the ceiling!... More

We had an issue with the bookings, but it was quickly rectified with the manager upon check-in. He was very friendly and welcoming. The former boutique hotel was in a convenient location in the city. Just a few minutes walk from the train station and city highlights. The tiny lift for the luggage was quite awkward to load/unload. The room... More

Rooms was simple bit clean. Best part about this was the staff for us as I had accidentally clicked on the incorrect night and had booked the night before instead. Staff were friendly and as they had a spare room were able to accomodate us at no extra charge. We were very excited about this as we had been trekking... More

Two nights in an executive room midweek. Found the room very small, newly renovated and bed comfortable. Tiny but usable bathroom. Surprised at how quiet it was, but then the function room one floor down was not being used either night. Disappointing was slightly musty smell when I arrived, old and dirty curtains in bathroom, and worn towel with a... More

Our room was clean, very spacious, bed was comfortable and had a huge window overlooking the street. I see other people are complaining about noise, live music, etc, but we did not have any of those problems. I guess we were lucky enough to book when there were no events/bands playing. The floors outside were a little creaky when neighbors... More
