We were a little weary about this hostel after the two previous ones, but were pleasantly surprised. The staff were really helpful, the kitchen was clean, the dorms were clean although a little small for 6, the common areas and the pool were great. First of all, the staff at reception were absolutely fantastic during our stay. We stayed in a double room that was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the kitchen. The kitchen was overrun by bugs scurrying everywhere each time I would pick up a pot or pan, or move something on a shelf.... more

My stay at AUSSITEL COFFS HARBOUR was ok however I think travellers should be advised before they arrive that a three percent credit card surcharge applies more

A nice hostel, a little way out of town, but close to the jetty and the beach, so is ideal for water activites. There is also a pool. The hostel is clean, with 3 showers each for each sex. Here's one nice little establishment. It's a great place for budget travellers and backpackers and certainly an above average hostel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Washrooms are plentiful and decently clean, but some of my friends experienced a plumbing problem in the ladies.
