We stayed here for 3 nights while in town for a sporting tournament. Our room was clean, and included a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle as well as some plates and cutlery. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice enough. The hotel is in a good location with many shops nearby - a Woolworths supermarket, McDonalds, KFC... more

What most reviews here say are true about the rooms being clean, quiet, and satisfactory. It is true there are lots of restaurants within a 5 minute walk, along with a book store and post. There's an attached small casino with slot machines and sports betting. However, my opinion is that it was overpriced by at least 50%. The rooms... more

I booked here almost as a last resort (everything else was booked out) so I wasn't expecting much - but was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and well laid out, everything was clean and in good repair - still closer to the last refurbishment than the next. This was a great hotel to stay in whilst in Canberra. The rooms were very large and the very clean. The bathrooms were big too. Mostly used for the business traveller, but we were holidaying for a couple of nights and found this hotel suited our needs. Staff were helpful. Breakfast restaurant onsite is good value - I would recommend... more

I travel to Canberra regularly for work and I can tell you that this place is great! It's within the travel allowance amount (ask for the Govt rate, even if your not in Govt - they don't ask for proof). The rooms are very speacious compared to most in Canb and either have 2 doubles or a queen size bed... more
