Comfy beds, lovely big bathrooms, beautiful interiors. Staff are great. Everything super easy. The gym is across the road, $15 to use but the pool is free. The pool is good, 25m and even has a lane rope! Only thing they could improve is bathroom products. Aveda products more appropriate I reckon. I loved the place, will definitely be back... More

I really enjoyed staying at the Burbury Hotel. It's located in the Realm precinct in Barton so close to where I needed to work. The hotel itself is quite new, so all the furnishings in the room are top notch. Great flat screen TV, big king size beds, an occasional chair, desk, small fridge and modern bathroom makes it a... We had often stayed at the sister hotel, Hotel Realm, but thought we would try the Burbury for a change and I am so glad we did. The decor is dark, but I thought it was a nice change from the beige blandness that so many rooms suffer from. The concealed lighting behind the feature walls was a nice touch... More

We stayed only the one night on a business trip. The bed and the pillows were the cleanest and most comfortable we had ever come across in a hotel, so we had the best night sleep after an exhausting day. The very up-to-the-minute Apple TV appliances were fantastic. Everything was ultra modern and sleek. Unfortunately, the lighting in the bathroom... More

I stayed in the Macquarie Walk Up Apartments - so called as they are at the back of hotel facing onto Macquarie St and there's no lift so you walk up the stairs but it's only 3 levels so no drama. It's located very close to the Realm, it's more expensive bigger sister. So I went over to the Realm... More

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in January 2012. It is across the road from the Realm. On arrival there was one person in reception to handle check in etc and no one to assist with baggage or even show you to your room. At a room rate of $540 I feel that a least this level of... More

I stayed in this hotel over night during March 2012. On arrival there was one person in reception to handle check in etc and no one to assist with baggage or even show you to your room. At a room rate of $540 I feel that a least this level of service should be provided after all this is a... More

Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback. The room rate you incurred was for a two bedroom apartment which will always be a higher rate than a standard room due to the second bedroom and size of the apartment. Unfortunately at this stage the Burbury Hotel does not offer room service however there are many dining options within... More

Lovely room and bathroom (especially the showe) with lots of space. As with most hotels the make up lighting leaves something to be desired. My only real gripe, and a real problem, is the lack of room service, With little choice around if you want to just relax and unwind after busy meetings traipsing to the bar opposite for take... More

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately the Burbury Hotel does not offer room service at this stage, however there are four restaurants onsite (soon to be five) offering a range of takeaway options. I apologise if this caused you any inconvenience. Thank you again for your review. Regards, Emil More

I stayed here for two nights for work. On arrival I was ignored by a female staff member at reception for the first 5 minutes and had to wait until her colleague had served someone else. The details I held of my booking, of a standard king room were not in the hotel system. I was put in the disability... More

I stayed one night on a business trip. I would certainly consider staying again, however despite the room being neat, clean, and tidy: one window would not wind in or out so that I could not avoid the noise from a convention across the road at the Realm; bathroom lighting above the sink would be hopeless for applying makeup; the...
