Not often do you stay in a B & B that surpasses your expectations but this did. We can not say enough good things about Clovelly House. The breakfasts are amongst the best we've had in a B&B and Fay bakes delicious cakes to welcome us back every afternoon after a busy day exploring wonderful Hobart. It's spotlessly clean and... More

Our three night stay at Clovelly House has been all we could have hoped. Graham and Fay are thoughtful and friendly, with just the right amount of interaction. The room was pleasant - clean and comfortable, the gardens delightful with lots of nooks to sit and admire the surroundings. Breakfast each morning provided the opportunity to interact with other guests,... More

We stayed at Clovelly House for 3 nights, and was one of the highlights of our trip! Graham and Fay were informative and friendly, and we met other great guests at Clovelly House which made breakfasts every morning such a wonderful experience. We really looked forward to the morning conversations with other guests each day. Breakfast included cereal, eggs whichever... More

Superb location with views over the river to CBD, yet only 10 mins drive from downtown Hobart. Efficient service with great breakfasts and fantastic coffee, pleasant room and great gardens. Free wireless. Lots of extra touches to make it special. Can't be beaten! More

Hosts were efficient. Room was large but had no seating. Lovely gardens, good parking. Guest lounge fireplace but no fire - not particularly cold but would have been great for ambience. Cooked breakfast poor and continental breakfast basic. Would try elsewhere next time. More

This is a lovely, recently renovated property in a great part of Hobart. Whilst over the bridge from the actual CBD Clovelly House is conveniently close to the inner city attractions and even more so to Belrive if a cricket match was the purpose of your visit. The proprietors and hosts are extremely hospitable and intuitive of just how much... More

Fay and Graeme are an excellent example of true Tasmanian Hospitality. Both of them made my family and I feel very welcome into their home. Although we had full use of our own bedrooms we could also enjoy the warmth of the guests lounge room (yes it does get cold in Tasmania in winter time). Like other reviewers, we thoroughly... More

Spent just a most memorable week at Clovelly House. We appreciated the friendliness of the King Family, the magnificent views over the Derwent to Hobart (the bonus of a snow capped Mt Wellington) and the included breakfast each morning, loved those freshly poached pears in cinnamon and from their own tree – what a treat!!! The conservatory where the breakfast... More

Excellent B&B. Had a warm welcome with tea and cake. They serve tea and cake every afternoon (about 4pm), something we never experienced elsewhere. After a day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to relax with a cup of tea, cake and lovely views. Rooms were comfortable with heating, and fairly spacious. Nice lounge to relax with a... More
