Generally a very good hotel, I have stayed there many times. I must mention that on the last 2 times out of 3 I have house keeping just walking into the room ignoring Do not disturb signs, they do not even knock. Everything was great , breakfast was superb. The only drawback was we had a room with a connecting door and there was a family next door, they probably got woken up when we came in late and we sure got an early morning wake up call. We could clearly hear was they were saying.

We chose the Novotel for not only the great price but also its location - close to the city and not too far away from the Airport. The service was great, and the evening buffet was delicious. Will definitely stay there again when flying out - 12 minutes to the airport and no parking fees.

My Husband and I needed a break away from our very busy life, but didn't want to travel too far away. We went from Hamilton up to stay at the Novotel Ellerslie for one night.We had a very relaxing time in nice comfortable surroundings. We found the staff very friendly and very helpful. We also had a lovely Buffet Dinner.

Frequent traveller to Auckland, first time staying at this hotel. Could recommend highly enough. Never stayed at a place where all staff were so friendly. Location wise could not fault as so close to train station so even though not in cbd it was still very convienient

I had a very brief stay, arrived late and left early, just to rest before another big day. Staff brilliant, very welcoming, helpful and efficient. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom is showing a bit of age.

My mum and I stayed at the Novotel for a craft conference last weekend and really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely, the room spacious and comfortable and the facilities were top notch. We had lunch and dinner at the onsite restaurant each day we were there and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Hotel has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Spacious rooms, good dining facilities and easy access. Good front of office staff.
