Located on a quiet and picturesque stretch of route 1. Rooms are decent but you are really here for the views which are spectacular and next to none. Highly recommended. Dinner at the restaurant is quite basic and very overpriced. Breakfast was adequate. More

Staff was super friendly and the rooms had a humble rustic cottage elegance. It made me want to stay another night that was inviting. Hard to justify the cost but that's the big sur! More

We loved this place. Very romantic (but not inexpensive) and great place to honeymoon or just to spend one or more nights with someone you love. It's kind of right in the middle of nowhere on the PCH about 20 miles south of Nepenthe. We arrived late but fortunately they held our reservation. Before going to our cabin, we had... More

We stumbled across this little gem and boy are we glad we did. It's not cheap, in fact it was the most we spent on a hotel in two weeks on our trip from San Francisco to San Diego, but we wouldn't hesitate to do it again. The cabins are spotlessly clean and as comfortable as any of the 4... More

We stayed here for a night at the beginning of September and found it to be a lovely place to stop on the Big Sur. We stayed in cabin 2 which has only a partial view, but there are a number of seats outside to allow you to sit and have a great view if there is no fog. The... More

We splurged on Cabin 10, hoping to get the best view. But as luck would have it, the fog was horrible, and you really couldn't see anything. The website for the Lodge makes everything look new and fresh, but there were cracked fence boards and the chairs outside looked pretty old compared to the pictures. However, the room was very... We stayed in cabin 6, which unfortunately didn't have an ocean view but it is still only a few steps to walk to the magnificent view of the pacific! We didn't arrive until about 9:30/10 in the evening, so we checked in and just grabbed some snacks from the shop, we was too tired to go for dinner in the... More

We stayed in Cabin #9 and it was large with a very comfortable bed and sitting area. Bathroom was quite small. There is a gas fireplace and unfortunately we did not check to see if it worked when we first arrived because we discovered later that the pilot lite was out after the office had closed. Fortunately we did not... More

We stayed at this lodge along our way up the coastline and I wanted the real ocean view experience. Well, you will certainly get that view if you stay at the Lucia Lodge. There are some draw backs that I will speak to after expressing my great delight with the wonderful cabin that we had for two nights. Although the... More

We were blown away by the view. Absolutely perfect. We stayed in cabin #9. Cozy and romantic. The bed was comfortable and we loved the rustic feeling of the cabin. Bathroom was very small, but it didn't even matter to us. We spent the majority of our time in front of the cabin, drinking wine in the adirondack chairs in... More
