We booked last minute (i.e. at 6pm on the day of). The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, and the place was perfect. I've stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels/resorts before (e.g. Four Seasons, Ritz, and some boutiques), but this was by far the best. I am in love,Ventana is magical.Poolside discussion with others that the hotel is overpriced,I agree ,amazing but not worth the price.Some of the magic disappears upon check in,bored and rude guy welcomes and he is omnipresent..Try to dine somewhere else,and use room service only as a last resort. more
