We just returned from a week at El Cid. (Nov. 7-14). There is not much to add to what has already been said. We booked through Expedia. We arranged pick up/return from the airport through Cancun Valet (--). They were easy to find exiting the airport, on time and courteous. They charge per vehicle not per person so it's great... more

Our family stayed at El Cid for 10 nights at the end of October. A short version: great hotel, great stay, would definitely recommend. The longer version: there were ups and a few downs. Great beach, food, drinks and staff. Would highly recommended. Loved the small feel of this resort. Have stayed at the Barcelo Karmina Palace, Barcello Tropical, & will be trying out the Iberostar in December. Loved this resort! more
