Recently returned from a destination wedding at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun. The place is beautiful. Our room was fine, but the view was non-existent. I would recommend spending a little extra for the ocean view room. Some people opted for the Royal Service, but we did not and we enjoyed our stay just as much. This hotel is a horror show. The rooms are poorly constructed and completely inconvient to get to the pool or any of the restaruants. The keys never work. The staff is unfriendly and unaccomodating. First of all the price was very high already. But the resort offered something called royal service which costs even more and they would get the better alcohol (Don Julio Reposado and Absolut) which isn't even top shelf.
