This place definitely has a boutique feel to it. There are not many bungalows, there are really only two bars and not too many people. This, along with a fairly unspoiled reef makes this place a fantastic resort. The restaurant offers great food, which is important, since there is no alternative food option. The huts are clean but a bit... More

We were at Angaga at the end of March early April. What a fantastic place. It was the first time in the Maldives for me. My partner had been to three other Islands and says this was by far the best. We stayed in one of the beach bungalows; in my opinion is the best option of the three types... More

We`ve been on Angaga for 12 days in September 2012. It was an amazing time on that little "paradise island" ;) and our first stay on the Maledives. The resort is in a good condition and the stuff is kind and friendly. A perfect place for people who need a quiet relaxed time!!! The beach bungalows are typical maledives style... More

Angaga is very pretty, small, round, great sandspit, rustic and old school Maldives - pretty much what we wanted. It was our 9th Maldives island holiday and we choose a different island each time. We go for the 'older style' islands as for us, the Maldives is about the relaxing desert island feel, and the snorkeling. The weather was fantastic... More

A great place to be, if you like diving. The location is far away from Male/ Airport, and thus from pollution and commercialization. This is naturally beautiful and romantic. We stayed in Water Villa and the experience was amazing. If you are a vegetarian, food would be an issue. But the place is so good to compensate the food factor.... More

ISLAND This was our third island in the Maldives, and by far the prettiest island yet. The island is small and intimate with a absolutely gorgeous lagoon with so many shades of blue and turquoise. There is also a small sandspit. I don't think I have ever taken so many pictures on a holiday as I did at Angaga, this... More

We booked our holiday to Angaga with “No News, No Shoes” who we can highly recommend. Angaga, South Ari Atoll What a wonderful island, with a great reef and beautiful gardens. You can walk around the island in about 10 minutes. We were in a bungalow, number 129, at the opposite end of the restaurant and it would take us... More

Just returned from our two weeks holiday on Angaga This time we were staying in Water Bungalow and last 5 days in Beach Bungalow, so we could compare. Bungalows: The interior in Beach and Water is more or less the same. Water has a safe deposit box and a bathtub (which we never used). Also there is a canopy over... More

We liked this island so much that we decided to return, this time with friends. We stayed in a beach bungalow, which is our preference, and it was great.
