When we first arrived at Dale Farm there was nobody about and the key had not been left, however this initial mishap was more than made up for by the lovely room and warm welcome we received, and was made much easier by the beautiful gardens surrounding it. Breakfast was great and there was a well thought out veggie option... More

So nice to say that we concur with the other reviewers and are happy to report that the very high B&B standard is being maintained. Excellent accommodation, breakfast and convivial hosts (Chris & Pete) make the experience all the more memorable. The muddy lane and significant number of potholes represent the only negative. More

What a lovely place to stay surrounded by countryside with the sea and villages just a short journey away. Chris and Pete made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless, fresh and modern. There was a very homely feel to Dale Farm with Scrabble the cat making an appearance and especially the big cooked breakfast which Pete presented with... More

My husband and I were looking for a quiet little get-away and booked Dale Farm. It was the best decision by far. The house itself is stunning, not to mention the gardens and surrounding views. Both Pete and Chris were very welcoming and friendly and can make anyone feel at ease. The breakfast selection was excellent with a good choice... More

..and we;ve stayed in a lot of B&B's but this one shines out above all the others because of the people who run it. It's tastefully decorated (not a flowery wallpaper in sight!) and SO cosy, warm and welcoming and SO relaxingly laid back. Unusually too, the owners are really happy that you're there. The rooms are lovely and the... More

I have stayed at Dale Farm House several times over the years for both work and pleasure, for some reason I have never got round to writing a review so will do so now! It is a beautiful old house in an extremely secluded location down an unmade road, as peaceful as one could wish. Someone else mentioned that the... More

We enjoyed a two night stay in Room 2, which was very comfortable and homely. Pete and Chris are very friendly and serve a delicious, cooked to order breakfast. The fresh fruit salad with organic yoghurt made a lovely starter, followed by bacon, sausage, mushroom, tomato, fried potato and egg cooked to your liking. We would definately recommend a stay... We have just come back from a 3-night stay at Dale Farm House in the New Forest. As a family of 7 we booked 2 double rooms with ensuites and the family room which consisted of 2 double rooms with ensuites and a connecting door - this was ideal for us as it gave our teenage daughter access to our...
