We found this hotel a bit depressing. We were booked into a 'superior' room, but the carpet was old and stained and the furniture was tired. The room had flourescent lighting. When it rained it made a lot of noise on the tin windowsill. Breakfast felt a bit sparse and penny-pinching - there was a limited choice compared to the other hotels we stayed in in Sweden. However, the staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful. After one night we moved to the Best Western on Strandgatan which was more expensive but worth the additional money and right in the centre of town compared to the Kung Gosta which was a 15 minute walk. more
