My partner and I stayed here for one night while we were in Bouillon. The hotel was in an OK location although when we checked in they said the car park was full and we had to park 1/2 mile up the road. The room was clean but very old-fashioned, with a creaky wooden floor and small, too-soft twin-beds (instead... More

A buildiing which clearly has a lot of history to it, and yet has up-to-date facilities. It is full of charming character, so you immediately feel at home. We discovered this hotel by accident nine years ago, and have been going back to it ever since. Although some of the rooms are at the rear of the hotel, it is... More

Bouillon is a very attractive town on the river Semois. The hotel is on the river bank and has a quirky charm redolent of an earlier and possibly more gentil era.Lots of marble and interesting old photographs on the ground floor.I would not have been unduly surprised to have seen Poirot wandering around twirling his moustache. Perhaps the rooms need updating... More

Perfectly situated in the middle of the city with it's own parking it's an excellent value for money hotel. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms on the third floor and although it looked a bit old fashioned everything was perfectly clean and practical. Breakfast was amazing, made it very difficult to choose from all the good things.

We immediately noticed the hotel when we arrived in Bouillon. It's a beautiful historical building by the river at the very center of this lovely town. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and a huge, charming dog who became part of this hotel. He barely moves, might seem scary at first (because of the size) but is really sweet... More

Rather impressed with this hotel. Old-fashioned but full of old European character, which I personally love. Wooden floorboards, old windows, walnut balustrades, large dining room sash windows, superb cuisine (the creme brulee is to die for), excellent range of Belgian beers, and the lovely blonde-haired young lady on reception was very helpful, friendly and professional. Commanding an excellent riverside location,... More

We spent a couple of days around New Year's Eve at this hotel; it was my second visit. I personally believe that the food is amazing, mainly dinner, as breakfast definitely needs some improvement (not enough choice), but the 3- and 7-course gastronomic menus at night are worth it without doubts. Everyone in my group agreed that the male staff... More

Was fooled by the nice-looking lobby when we needed a room at the end of the day but I'll never recommend this place to anyone. it's a 1-2 star place that charged at least 3 star prices. Room had sloping wood floor, lousy shower, no toiletries worth speaking of, no tea making facility, beds just acceptable, tacky furniture not fitting... More

Don't be fooled by the lobby, it looks good, but the room is a dump! Worst, SOFT LUMPY MATTRESS! We got stuck here because the only other place we found open (this is early Oct!) would not take our tiny Dog. The Post Hotel took the Dog, but soaked us for 15 Euros! The room was old, dust everywhere, windows... More

Part of group (mainly couples) staying for a few days. Traditional hotel, comfortable rooms altho' dark due to chocolate brown walls. Food satisfactory (group on half board) but only allowed to sit at designated tables - fine for dinner as ate together but seemed unreasonable at breakfast since we arrived down at different times! Menu & drinks expensive; much better... More
