We spent September 13 - 15, 2006 at the McNamara Hotel on the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal. This was my least favorite place of any of the ones we stayed. The lobby had been remodeled but the two en suite rooms were tired and need to be upgraded. Staff seemed in short supply and were cross trained in many... More

Had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel which was made extra special by the super efficient and uncommonly friendly staff. My thanks is extended to all the staff but I would like to thank Kathleen and Ramona especially, for their exemplary service and sociability to us. Without doubt, the jewels in the crown. More

The food was excellent, the young staff very friendly and efficient, the rooms are very clean. Mr. Brady purchased the hotel in January 2005, and it... More

It is not modern in furnishings or facilites but the staff are wonderful & they totally went out of there way to make us feel at home. From the receptionist to the bartenders, waiters to the maids the staff in this hotel were exceptional. The presidential... More
