We booked at last minute. For the price we paid (Euro145), it is reasonably good hotel. It has all the facilities one needs. Good pool and sauna as well. Breakfast is included. Staff are very nice and professional in the restaurant, in particular thanks to Mr Sven Jansdik for the superb service.

Ilsenburg is a charming old town in the foothills of the Harz. You have everything what you can expect from Germany: Landscape, a historic town, a romantic castle - and a luxury hotel. The hotel offers everything you want on a true five-star-level.
