Stayed one night spotless clean hotel parking is included with lovely breakfast. Real unhurried feeling. Lidl is a 5 minute walk down the road. In the dining room the staff are pleasant and wear traditional costume. If we are in the area again will not hesitate to stay. About 45 monute drive to castle well worth the trip.

I've stayed at the Smart Hotel and the Waldhorn on the way to skiing. They are comparable but the Waldhorn is the better all rounder. I'm sure this would make a good base for exploring Kempten Allgau. If, like me, you're just passing through it's ideal. The Hotel Waldhorn in Kempten, Bavaria is a very good 3-star hotel. In terms of room comfort I have only praise for the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
