Aside from actually locating the hotel on the first day, this was a perfect stay. Driving in medievil Arcos is a challenge for anyone with side view mirrors! Just a lovely place to stay at the top of the town. A beautiful old building with a charming central room. This was a charming little place and we enjoyed it here. Good points...... Our room was a delight. Spacious, clean and with a lovely bathroom. It was nice to sleep there. However, some of our friends got slightly pokey rooms for a similar price, so make sure you know the room is going to be one of the bigger ones.... more

Genuinely warm and congenial hospitality with gourmet breakfast enjoyed in a bright courtyard. Hotel located on a cliff with memorable views of the valley below and breathtaking terraces. Best enjoyed by the young at heart....and young of body. Parking in the square of the parador is possible but not probable...and you better have a small car. Best to use parking... more
